Europe Missionaries - Italy Prayer Focus

Dear Prayer Partners,

Just a note to remind you to send in any prayer concerns that you are aware of for Italy.

The battle is fierce in Italy and our weapons are spiritual. This list is to help hold up the arms of those who wage spiritual war in Italy. Please let us know how to pray for you who minister there or if you know of others we can pray for.

Also, let us know of the victories, that we may rejoice together. Even if they seem small, they are all important.

Finally, the following are some general prayer concerns that we can all pray about. As you read this, you may be think of other needs. Please send those in as well. All subscribers can post messages to the list.

The following is reproduced (with minor editing) by permission from Intercessors for Italy:

For evangelism and revival. Only the conversion of millions of Italians to a true faith in Christ can produce a deep, lasting change in Italy.
In particular, pray for the planting of new churches and fellowships in the least evangelized regions of the nation (some of you may be able to tell us about some of these areas).
For the Church, that pride and sectarian attitudes may be broken down and all Christians may recognize one another as brothers and sisters and work together to oppose the kingdom of darkness.
For the Italian political authorities (President, Prime Minister, ministers, Parliament, local authorities, and everyone in public life), that God may use them to preserve and promote freedom and justice. That at every level of government God will raise up honest, able, God-fearing people to promote the public good.
For the Pope, the Vatican and other religious authorities, that under God's hand they may be used to promote His purposes for Italy and the whole world. [I might add, pray that the Pope and the Vatican will repent of their massive doctrinal errors and be converted! Also, that the Catholic influence would not hinder the spread of the Gospel.]
For the judges and the legal system: that God will protect them from danger and use them to get rid of corruption and organized crime. For the police and security forces, that they will faithfully serve the public and work effectively to free the nation from the plague of the Mafia and organized crime.
For all the mafiosi and criminals of all kinds, both in and out of prison, that they may repent and receive forgiveness and the salvation that only Christ can give.
Against the occult powers of witchcraft and freemasonry, that they may no longer influence the political and social life of the nation, and for the deliverance of all those who are in their grip.
For the youth of the nation, the God will protect them from the temptations of drugs, sex and damaging entertainments and lead them to Christ, the only source of "abundant life".
For TV and the media, that they may provide accurate and impartial information and not become means of manipulation and control. To get rid of pornography, broadcasts promoting witchcraft and the occult, and other corrupting influences, and for decent, useful broadcasting.
For the opening of doors for the spread of the Gospel through TV.

To this I add:

That the believers in Italy would be faithful and obedient to the Word of God and that their lives would produce maturity and much fruit to the glory of God.
For doctrinal integrity among the Protestants and Evangelicals in Italy.

God always takes care of us financially. 2/3rds of mission teams go to 3rd world countries while 1/3rd of short and long term missionaries go to other missions stated by Trans World Radio. TWR pleaded to us to go to Europe. So we have made this our source of mission work for the last decade one month of every year.
